Opesanwo Ifakorede is an Oakland born urban practical herbalist, installation artist, and father. His first lessons in herbal medicine were transmitted through heart and practice from his grandmother. His later studies in herbal traditions brought him to Nigeria, Burkina Faso, and then back to the Bay to work with local herbalists.
His herbal medicine practices are rooted in using local and accessible resources, (including food, local plant medicine, thoughts, and personal intention) to cultivate emotional, spiritual, physical balance.
Opesanwo is available for private herbal consultations. He can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
